ABA
Applied Behavior Analysis is the application of empirically derived techniques to individual behaviors based upon the relationship between behavior and its environment.  Behavior Analysis relies upon the systematic arrangement of events to obtain desirable behaviors.  It is a data based science where evidence based procedures are implemented on an individual basis to increase functional, communication, and social skills.  We break down complex skills into component steps and prerequisite skills and teach systematically.

BEST provides an eclectic style approach to early intervention ABA programs.  We feel that every child learns differently and may need various teaching approaches when learning different skills.  Therefore, early intervention programs incorporate verbal behavior (behavior analysis of language), naturalistic and incidental teaching techniques, pivotal response treatment, and discreet trial teaching.
